Some additional references found today on Monster Intelligence. Here is the documentation for a webinar from last year, Managing Generation Y. If you want the watch the webinar here is the download. You'll need an hour and some coffee if your going to sit through the presentation.

Monster Intelligence also have two more webinars in the pipe for this month:

Managing an Intergenerational Workforce on Thursday, 15 March 2007 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST. The blurb reads:

The knowledge, skills and workplace attributes possessed by today’s multigenerational workforce present multiple challenges and opportunities to business leaders. Leading - and successfully managing - an intergenerational workforce is becoming a business imperative that few organizations can ignore. Join us as we address the business case for keeping productive and experienced workers of all ages on the job and tips for managing for success across multiple generations.

It's OKAY to be the Boss: Gen Yers Advance on Thursday, 29 March 2007 from 2:00 PM - 3 PM EST

Is there an undermanagement epidemic in business today? Our global economy is a highly interconnected, fiercely competitive and knowledge driven environment that demands organizations to continually improve and excel. To achieve, organizations need strong leaders and managers who step up to the plate. After years of research, Bruce Tulgan, founder of RainmakerThinking and a leading advisor on managing the Gen Y generation, discusses how false empowerment has decayed management and what new managers need to know to succeed. Learn how you can help the Gen Y workers in your organization become the next tier of great bosses.

Of course, if you're reading this after the run dates go online and download the webinars.

I haven't gone through any of this yet but if you have, or do, post a comment here and let us know what you think.
