Combine RCI Talent Locator and Reverse Postings

Challenge:

Self Regional Healthcare, based in Greenwood, SC, is a major referral and medical center providing advanced healthcare services to more than a quarter of a million people in the Lakelands region of upstate South Carolina. Employing 2,400 medical professionals and an additional medical staff of 200, the company has received the Gallop Poll Award as one of the Top 20 Great Workplaces to Work in the World for three straight years.

That didn’t make it any easier for them, however, when it came to finding a Clinical IT Analyst.

Self's time-consuming challenge was to locate an exact candidate who matched the hard-to-fill requirements demanded of the position: experience using specific software for Computerized Physician Ordering, experience with business analysis, and experience in the clinical and/or healthcare fields. This specifically skilled individual also needed software implementation and training experience.

The challenge of finding such a candidate seemed to warrant a widespread search that encompassed all nine Southeastern states. To accomplish this task, Self turned to us.

Solution:

Determining that RCI Talent Locator offered the most promising solution to Self's challenge, the RCI Account Manager, Stephanie Tsui, initiated the project with a thorough information-gathering process. Tsui then turned to our team of search and screening specialists to determine search keywords that would help RCI Talent Locator match the skills, education, and technical criteria for the Clinical IT Analyst position.

RCI Talent Locator used these keywords to search job boards, ATS archives, social-networking sites, and more — virtually every online repository where candidate information can be accessed.

Once RCI Talent Locator discovered the candidates, we directly emailed the candidates who fit the client's needs. This process — which we call reverse posting — allowed us to reach just those candidates who closely matched Self's criteria.

In order to save time, the reverse posting directed candidates directly to Self for interview scheduling and processing.

Result:

By turning to RCI, Self Regional Healthcare found the exact candidate they needed, and they hired the candidate within one month.
