RCI STREAMline Recruiter Training: Navigating the Recruitment MazeSTREAMline™ is a unique, integrated, and systematic approach to recruiter training. The concepts, content, and application are channeled along six interconnected "streams":

Skills

STREAMline™ is not "Recruiting 101". That said, even with the most basic level of experience, our skills training will be just as effective for rookies as for seasoned professionals. Our approach is designed to enable more effective delivery of recruiting processes regardless of the skills a recruiter brings to the table.

Technique

We teach the process and practice of skills development as it relates to every aspect of recruiting, including the technical elements of the job, effective organization and management, business communication, and self-direction.

Recall

STREAMline™ introduces a method of problem-solving that can be applied throughout the recruiting process to effect continuous and measurable improvements. We call this method Recall, because it draws on a recruiter’s ‘collective memory’ (real and imagined) to help frame problem solving, sharpen critical and intuitive reasoning, and devise creative solutions and ways to implement them.

Expectations

Being able to communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, supervisors and/or peers, and simultaneously deliver tangible results is fundamental to everyone’s well-being. We demonstrate how the recruiting process can be kept on course from beginning to end, and meet expectations with minimal mistakes, confusion, and fallout along the way.

Attitude

Focusing on the technical aspects of recruiting – at the expense of the supportive attitudes and behaviors that enable continued and increased success – minimizes the positive affects of recruiter training and compromises any potential ROI. We cannot teach attitude, but our approach enhances what you do have and develops what you’ll need to be at the pinnacle of the recruiting game, all of the time.

Metrics

The fundamental importance of metrics cannot be overstated. STREAMline™ teaches why, where, when, and how metrics should be applied for advancing departmental goals, business objectives, and professional and personal development. Our approach to data collection, analysis, and reporting is inherently practical.

These six themes – Skills, Techniques, Recall, Expectations, Attitude, and Metrics – recur throughout the program. They support the materials delivered, and are the channels through which our theory, concepts, training, coaching and delivery flow.

The basic recruiting know-how referenced in the STREAMline™ Recruiter Training program is drawn from our own experience, along with a number of well-respected sources we have identified, validated, and proven in practice. We reference and adapt the latest thinking and applications from the worlds of HR and recruiting, organizational development, business strategy, sales and marketing, organizational learning, and coaching.
