Challenge:

Liberty National Life InsuranceLiberty National Life Insurance Company is a Forbes Platinum 400 company and one of the largest publicly-held life and health insurers in the nation. Its size made the coordination of effort for its recruiters into a major challenge. Recruiters had no simple way to share their information on candidates, resulting in too many missed opportunities for the organization. Our challenge was to aggregate all of the sourced financial advisor/sales candidates into a single database that could be accessed by any of the 150+ field offices.

Liberty National also wanted us to significantly reduce the time it took for a candidate to move from the application to the interview. Their current time was long enough for them to lose several candidates to their competitors, and that was not acceptable.

Solution:

Using RCI RecruitSuiteâ„¢, Liberty National's candidates were able to apply online, pre-screen themselves from the process, and include their information in a single database. The recruiters and hiring managers could integrate resumes they had sourced from job sites such as Monster and CareerBuilder into the same database. Utilizing RCI RecruitSuiteâ„¢ would prevent that ideal candidate's information from being lost in the ether.

Result:

The hiring managers and recruiters from Liberty National were provided with immediate access to interested and pre-qualified candidates through our technology, regardless of their location. They could match their needs against the database, sort by geographic location to find candidates in their area, and then get the results of their pre-qualification questionnaire to see if the candidates fit the opportunity. The database is also pro-active, notifying hiring managers and recruiters when a new candidate who matches their needs has entered the database. If desired, they can place a phone call or send an email and have an interview appointment set up before the pre-screen candidate has a chance to leave the site. Thanks to our efforts, the candidate can now go from application to initial phone interview in just a matter of seconds.
