Solution:After working closely with their hiring managers to determine a profile of the ideal candidate, we developed a web-based application that consisted of a series of position-specific and job-relevant pre-qualification screening questions. If the candidate made it through the pre-qualifying process, his or her information was forwarded through RCI RecruitSuite™ to the recruiter responsible for the openings in the candidate's self-selected geographic area. We then created a marketing campaign that worked through traditional and new media to drive potential candidates to the application. Result:The candidates that were electronically presented to the MCI recruiters and hiring managers were more on-target than the client's previous attempts, thanks to the pre-screening application. They met the position's qualifications and were more apt to accept an offer. MCI's interview-to-hire ratio decreased considerably, reducing the time that our client's recruiters spent interviewing candidates who were not qualified and/or had no true interest in the position. MCI also saved time and money through our coordination of their many offices and recruiters, erasing the unnecessary duplication of effort that had affected MCI prior to working with us.
